Imperial Burgers in La Habra is a straightforward, no-frills spot where the focus is firmly on classic American diner fare with a strong emphasis on burgers and hearty breakfast options. Located right on E Imperial Hwy, this family-run restaurant leans into comfort food done well, making it a solid choice for locals looking for a filling breakfast burrito, a bacon cheeseburger, or a robust plate of chili cheese fries loaded with extra cheese.

The atmosphere is modest and quite utilitarian—there’s limited seating, mostly near the order and pickup area, which means it’s a place that fits well for takeout or quick casual dining rather than lingering over a slow meal. Expect the space to feel a bit tight and lightly worn as the dining area could use some updating, but staff are generally efficient and friendly enough, managing the steady flow of regulars who come by for their reliable favorites.

Breakfast here is a standout time to visit, especially if you’re craving something loaded and satisfying like their bacon breakfast burrito. Portions are generous, with ingredients piled high and consistent in quality, which keeps people coming back. Burgers—particularly their bacon double cheeseburger and beef options—have earned a solid local reputation. The crinkle-cut fries and fried zucchini fries complement these well, especially if you like to spice things up with their hot sauce on the side.

The menu goes beyond burgers and breakfast with reasonably priced dinners including rib eye steak, pork chops, and chicken breast, catering to those looking for a simple but broad choice in one place. While some side dishes like onion rings might lean heavy on batter, the overall value and hearty portions make this a dependable spot for a casual meal.

Imperial Burgers works best for folks who appreciate a classic, old-school burger joint vibe without the fuss, where the food gets priority over décor. It’s a convenient stop for grab-and-go orders or a quick sit-down if you’re not expecting anything fancy. Regulars value the straightforward service and consistency, making it a neighborhood staple for breakfast and lunchtime cravings in La Habra.

Best take out in the LA Habra area for burgers and other sandwiches and Mexican dishes as well, classic style, wrapped in yellow paper, best crinkle fries hands down, plus they give you alot. Lady taking orders seems short and to the point but she running a business so I get it. The food makes up for it. Not much seating unless you are okay sitting right in front of the order and pick up windows. Plenty of parking, 50/50 on the restroom, it's clean but old.

Bacon Breakfast burrito! I mean the women at the counter told me I would love it and I do! It’s nice size and they don’t hold back ingredients, stayed consistent all the way through the whole burrito.

I wish I could walk here every day and enjoy your burger or extensive menu. I’ve tried a few things and I would walk there till I finish every item in the menu day by day, but we gotta watch our figures right

Ordered Pastrami Sandwich. The pastrami was juicy, however maybe a nicer bun would add a bit more flavor contrast to the meal. Ordered a side dish of onion rings which was mostly batter. Also fact they charge extra for ranch for the onion rings is a bit extra. Atmosphere is small and maybe could use some renovation, however staff was nice.

Super delicious diner quality food served with friendly hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Imperial Burgers. The junior Burger and fries tasty. Much better than In 'n'Out. It also seemed the meal was presented with the utmost care as the burger didn't not look like it was hastily prepared. The diner has both an indoor and outdoor dining counter service. The whole ok place looked very clean as I did not see one single piece of trash on the floor. Even the indoor dining area looked really clean. Friendly service throughout. Conveniently located on the corner of Imperial hwy. Plenty of free parking.

This gem has been serving up quality since the 70s. Their steak sandwich is flavorful and a big hit with the locals. A perk of coming here is they us RC Cola instead of the usual coke. Personally, I love Royal Cola, but you dont see it in restaurants often. Their salads are good and their fries and onion rings are amazing. They have EPIC homemade ranch, but you have to pay $1 for it (it is a large container of ranch, and I feel is a good value). Their burgers are delicious as well and they have banana peppers available on request. You can order inside or outside if you want to take it to go.
